What have we been up to? Yes it's been a while since we've sent out an offer and news but socials followers will have seen progress on our solar shed which now stores a lot of nature info, backed up by our INaturalist Project "Kiambram (thick forest)".

Kiambram officially became part of the Australia wide "Birds of Farms" research project late last year and quarterly host a survey team monitoring bird populations across years in rural areas. Thanks to an extra visit by volunteer Chris a new variety for our property has been spotted and added to our bird list; the Scarlet honeyeater. (This photo is a female).

We are hosting some special visitors at our upcoming Land For Wildlife property visit; as well as other Land For Wildlife Members, a cohort of botanical authors who surveyed Kiambram in 2019 taking photographs and samples to assist their compilation of field guides covering plants of the Condamine catchment. Amongst others they have published "Wattles of Toowoomba and the Condamine Catchment" - 2nd edition coming 2027.
